This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it on Masmas.ge.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we may store your name, email, phone number, city, profile photo, and learning interests. For teachers, we also store specialization, experience, monthly fee, profile description, teaching languages, and availability.
2. Public information
An approved teacher profile publicly displays the teacher’s name, photo, city, specialization, experience, price, description, teaching languages, availability, and phone number. The phone number is public so catalog visitors can contact the teacher directly. Learner profiles are not published in the public catalog.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage accounts and profiles.
- To power teacher search and filtering.
- To review profiles and manage user reviews.
- To send account-security messages.
- To improve service quality and website performance.
4. Reviews and anti-spam controls
Guests may submit reviews, which are published on the teacher’s profile immediately. To reduce misuse, we store a randomly generated technical identifier on the device. It does not contain your name, email, or phone number. Visitors may report a review, while the relevant teacher or a Masmas administrator may delete it.
5. Information about minors
Learners aged 16 or older may provide consent themselves. An account for a learner under 16 must be created by a parent or legal guardian, who provides their own name and email and confirms consent electronically. We use a minor’s information only to manage the account and learning preferences, with the child’s best interests in mind.
6. Storage and security
Account and profile information is stored using protected data infrastructure. Masmas cannot see and does not store password text in plain form. We use access controls, session protection, and database security rules, but no online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We use trusted infrastructure providers for authentication, database, file storage, hosting, and email delivery. They may access data only as needed to provide those services.
8. Your rights
You can edit your information, download a copy, or delete your account and associated profile data from your profile. For support, contact us from the email registered to the account. We may need to verify account ownership.
